Do you know, that

The universe officially came into being with a Big Bang, and it keeps expanding. However, recently scientists have come to believe that it requires vast amounts of energy to exist. There are no scientific instruments that could measure this energy, and without it there would be no existence at all. It seems that Albert Einstein will finally get the credit from his fellow scientists. Einstein worked on a theory of vacuum energy, known as the cosmological constant for some time. He suggested the universe is static: it is neither expanding nor contracting, and in fact its size never changes. The cosmological constant refers to undetectable energy expressed as a negative value, which must exist in order for the universe to remain static. As scientific evidence for the origin of the universe in a big explosion had been presented, Einstein reluctantly agreed with his colleagues and said the cosmological constant was the biggest mistake he had ever made...
